Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) service is based in Endoscopy Department at Connolly Hospital providing continuous care for increasingly complex lifelong diseases, delivering biologic therapies for moderate to severe IBD patients to reduce the rate of unnecessary hospitalisation, ED presentations, need for surgery and other complications including colorectal cancer.   The CNS/CCNS (IBD) will work closely with the Consultant Gastroenterologists their team and the Endoscopy department’s infusion unit.
