The post of Clinical Skills Facilitator – Frailty is a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, resource management, staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional/clinical leadership The Clinical Skills Facilitator – Frailty will deliver care in line with the five core concepts of the role set out in the Framework for the Establishment of Clinical Nurse/Midwife Specialist Posts, 4th edition, National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery (NCNM) 2008

Be a registered general nurse on the live Register of Nurses kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland

The person must be registered in the division in which the application is being made. Note: It is the policy of the HSE to require nurses and midwives to certify registration with NMBI annually by the way of the Patient Safety Assurance Certification (PSAC)
