The Maintenance Craftsman (Fitter/Plumber) is directly responsible for carrying out Fitting/Plumbing works on the site and reports to the Maintenance Foreman and the Maintenance and Technical Services Manager.
Each candidate must, at the latest date for receipt of completed applications for the post possess:
Possess a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 6 (or higher) Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical (or equivalent qualification). | |
Or | |
Possess the National Craft Certificate issued by FETAC | |
Or | |
| Possess the Senior Trade Certificate issued by the Department of Education. |
Or | |
Possess a Level 3 Technical/Trade qualification or equivalent issued by City & Guilds, London | |
And
Candidates must possess the requisite technical knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability for the proper discharge of the office.
And
Min 5 years post qualification experience operating in a major building maintenance environment with operational roles in Fitting/plumbing spheres of work
