Overview

The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the relevant care setting.

 

The staff nurse will provide holistic, person centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users.

If you apply and are successful at interview you will be placed on a panel in order of merit.  Once you are on the panel, you will be notified via email about all Staff Nurse posts as they arise within Cavan Monaghan Community Healthcare Services.

Essential Criteria

Candidates must have at the latest date of application: -

 

Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be entitled to be so registered

 

and

Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role

 

Annual Registration

On appointment, practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann).

 

And

 

Practitioners must confirm annual registration with the NMBI to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).

 

Post Specific Requirements:

Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the area of staf Nurse General as relevant to the role.
