This is a temporary appointment with a Public Only Consultant Contract (POCC 23) by the HSE to be based in Connolly Hospital.

The Emergency Department in Connolly Hospital provides 24/7 care to all adult patients, over the age of 15, presenting with acute undifferentiated illness or injury. It serves a catchment population of 330,000 people in one of the youngest, fastest growing and most ethnically diverse areas of Ireland. Its location/accessibility off the M50, the large hospital grounds and the local age profile were key factors in its selection as a site for one of two Paediatric Urgent Care Centres, satellite centres of the National Children’s Hospital.
