The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the services which s/he has been assigned.

The post holder will play a key role in contributing to both the strategic development and operational implementation of the Surgical Hub’s annual service plan.

S/he will be responsible for supporting line management in the development and execution of appropriate policies/strategies in line with national objectives.

S/he will be responsible for ensuring the most effective use of the resources available for the services.

Confined to General Manager’s within the Dublin North East Region

Candidates must have at the latest date of application:

• Significant health sector management experience which should include financial and staff
• Proven ability in developing and implementing plans at a strategic and operational
• A track record of delivering significant change in a complex multi stakeholder environment, as relevant to this
• Experience in the delivery of a safe and quality service through multi-disciplinary and cross sectoral
• Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the
