The CDU Operative will support the safe and efficient reprocessing of medical devices in accordance with national standards, HSE protocols, and manufacturer guidelines. The role involves working as part of a team to ensure timely turnaround of sterile instruments and equipment to support clinical services.
To assist with the delivery of patient care under the supervision and direction of Nursing or other Professional Staff.
The HCA (CDU Operative) will also be required to help and support colleagues within the theatre department, stock control will be a fundamental part of the role.
