The CNM3 in General Medicine has day to day operational responsibilities which include the following;

Candidates must on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms:
Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses kept by An Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais na hEireann (Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be entitled to be so registered.
And
Must have a minimum of 7 years post registration experience, 2 years of which must have been in a medical setting at Clinical Nurse Manager level.
And
Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
And
Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level.
