Professional Qualifications & Experience

• Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.

And

• Have at least 5 years post registration experience of which 2 must be in the speciality area or related area of practice

And

• Have a Post Graduate Course in Intensive Care Nursing or equivalent

And

• Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.

And

• Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level

Post Specific Requirements:

Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in relation to nursing practice as relevant to the role.
