The role of the Radiography Assistant is to assist the radiographers and nursing staff to deliver an efficient and caring radiology/imaging service to patients under the supervision of the Radiography Service Manager or delegate.
On each working rota the X-Ray care assistant will work under the supervision and direction of the radiography staff in relation to duties and responsibilities associated with direct patient care.
Patient confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
The post holder will be required to work night shifts and weekends.
