Overview

The Medical division within Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital comprises of General medical wards along with specialist Stroke / Care of the Older Persons/ Cardiology, Respiratory and Endocrinology Services.

 

The purpose of the CNM1 in Acute Medicine is to manage in conjunction with the CNM2 and lead a high quality service for patients.

 

A panel may be created from this campaign for Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Co Louth from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full time or part time duration may be filled.

HSE Dublin and North East provides health and social care to North Dublin, Louth, Meath,

Monaghan and most areas of Cavan.

Essential Criteria

Candidates must at the latest date of application: -

 

  • Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) or entitled to be so registered.

And

  • Have at least 4 Years Post Registration experience of which 2 must be in the acute medical  setting.

And

  • have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role

Health

A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

 

Character

Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
