To support the Mental Health Service in achieving the objectives of delivering high quality and safe service to patients in the Hospital and prisoners suffering from Mental Illness through Prison In Reach services.
The Head of National Forensic Mental Health Service is fully accountable and responsible for service provision within the NFMHS; implementing standardised models of pathways of care to support integration.
Please note this campaign is confined to General Managers within Mental Health services in the Dublin and North East Region only
Candidates must have at the latest date of application: -
Health
A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
Character
Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
Note1: Candidates must achieve a pass in Ordinary or Higher level papers. A pass in a foundation level paper is not acceptable. Candidates must have achieved these grades on the Leaving Certificate Established programme or the Leaving Certificate Vocational programme. The Leaving Certification Applied Programme does not fulfil the eligibility criteria.
