To collect venous and capillary blood samples from patients throughout the Hospital and the GP phlebotomy clinic.  

Panels may be formed for full time & part time, permanent & specified purpose contracts.

Candidates for appointment must:

• Hold an accredited qualification at NQAI Level 5 or higher.

                                OR

• Hold the Certificate in Phlebotomy form DCU/National Ambulance Training School or equivalent Phlebotomy qualification.

                                OR

• Be registered in the general division of the live register maintained by An Bord Altranais.

                                AND

• Candidates must have one year’s experience in a healthcare environment.

                                AND

• Candidates must have the clinical/scientific/technical and administrative capacity to fulfil the functions of the role
