Connolly Hospital is seeking applicants for the Basic Grade Radiographer for permanent and specified purpose contract positions.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Connolly Hospital, Dublin from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

The Radiographer will report to the Radiography Services Manager or designate.

Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.

(a) Candidates for appointment must:

(i) Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU. (https://www.coru.ie/

                                       AND

(ii) Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

                                       AND

(iii) Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.

Annual registration

(i) On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.

                                        AND

(ii) Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).

• In depth knowledge of current trends in Radiography and Radiology.
• Successful candidates will be expected to participate in an on call service.
